Rx Platinum App
2020 / Team: Kevin McKeefery, Tomasz Gasiewski, Arpit Dongre, Ashwini Dhande
I led the UX and UI design of the RxPlatinum apps from scratch. In two months with limited resources, we designed and developed a subscription based discount prescription drugs program to help families save money amidst a global pandemic.
When RxPlatinum first began, the whole world was in the middle of a global pandemic. Millions of people filed for unemployment in the U.S. leaving many without health insurance. Our team sought to provide the best possible discount for thousands of prescription drugs.
We were looking for an easy and affordable solution for families to get the prescriptions that they need.
I was tasked with building out an Android and an iOS app with both a public and a member user experience.
The logged-in experience requires sign up and payment, so we began by wireframing this user experience.
The public user experience focuses on showing users how much they can save using RxPlatinum based on the prescriptions that they take. This gives users a feel for RxPlatinum before committing to a paid subscription.
The member experience is focused on 2 things: finding the pharmacy with the best price and tracking user savings.
The project involved creating a robust web style guide and element UI system. This style guide is the foundation for our designers and developers to continue iterations on any screens for the site and apps.
